I’ve loved photography since I was little. I remember inviting friends over to do “model shoots” in our backyard, and always having my little film camera with me when I went on summer trips with my family. In high school I took my first photography class, and I borrowed my mom’s vintage Canon AE-1 and learned how to shoot and develop film. I was hooked! After college I bought my first DSLR camera and read everything I could get my hands on to learn about digital photography. I started taking photography jobs whenever I could, and after I got married, I started shooting weddings. That was 15 years ago, and it’s gone by in a blur! Over the years I’ve developed a clean and colorful style that focuses on capturing real smiles and organic moments. My goal is to make my clients comfortable in front of the camera so that I can capture their true personalities and emotions.

When I’m not out taking pictures, you can usually find me spending time with my family. I’m married to the love of my life, Andrew, and am the proud mama of three rambunctious boys. We love to go on adventures, or tackle DIY home projects together. I’m also a watercolor artist and I paint any chance I get! I’m obsessed with flowers and houseplants; I love a cup (or two, or three) of strong coffee, good food, and a book I can’t put down. I adore pretty things because they make me happy, so I try to surround myself with beauty of all kinds on a daily basis.
